The Black Chronicle is a weekly newspaper and publisher serving the African American community in Oklahoma City and statewide across Oklahoma, including Tulsa and Lawton/Ft. Sill. Founded in 1979 and known as The Paper That Tells The Truth, it provides local, state, national, and community news, culture, politics, opinion, and special coverage, along with print and digital subscriptions plus the quarterly TBC Magazine. It is owned by Perry Publishing & Broadcasting and maintains one of the largest paid weekly circulations in the state.
